Evaluation of Quality of Primary Health Care Services in Comparison to IPHS Norms in Rajasthan

Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being
and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity (WHO). Health is
thus vital for contemporary and whole development for individual and
community and socio economic development of whole country. Public
health is the science and art of promoting health, preventing disease and
prolonging life through the organized efforts of society (WHO). It is a
political and social concept aimed at improving health, prolonging life
and quality of life among population through disease prevention, health
promotion and other health intervention.
